DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHERS' RESPONSIBILITIES
Their main function is to take x-ray images (radiographs) of the body from which a medical doctor can make a diagnosis.
They often go to the operating theatre and wards to x-ray a patient.
They handle very advanced technological equipment.
They provide a 24 hour service to patients - this means working at night, weekends and public holidays.
They are professionals and play a pivotal role in the healthcare team.
